The following are the questions for Act 1 of Othello. You only need to answer one of these. You can also respond/answer/correct any posts by fellow students. If there is any questions you would like to put out you can. I encourage all students to respond.

1.      After reading act 1 of the play, what is your opinion of Othello? Is he a good guy, is he likeable, is he admired, what are his strengths and weaknesses.

2.      Othello does not appear in Act 1. Why do you think this is?
